Lost Car Keys in Hollywood Florida

Quite often, we receive calls from customers who have no idea what they could do if they lost their only car key. They wonder, is their only option to tow to the dealership and pay a fortune? Be without their car for at least a day? And that is if their lucky enough to lose their car keys during business hours, Monday through Friday and not on a holiday. We decided to take the time to write an answer to their questions to hopefully make things easier for them going forward and to make it so that when someone searches the internet “lost my only car key, what should I do”, there will be an answer for them.

Unbeknownst to most consumers, when they lose their only car key, there is an alternative that is cheaper than the dealership. They can call a local locksmith service and the locksmith company will send a locksmith to their location to cut and program them a new key. This whole process can usually be completed within 45 minutes from the time the customer calls until they are driving away with their car and a new key. The service is cheaper than the dealership, and companies like ours, Mr. Spare Key, are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays and weekends.

A key to an American car is always cheaper as the parts are more available in the US.
